This platform has been created to promote a human-rights-based approach to the rapidly evolving development of artificial intelligence in the context of contemporary global challenges.
As artificial intelligence increasingly influences public administration, justice, education, communication and everyday life, the protection of human dignity, equality, privacy, accountability and fairness becomes ever more important. In this regard, the platform seeks to encourage dialogue on ensuring that technological progress serves the protection and promotion of fundamental rights and freedoms.
The main objective of the initiative is to help direct the development and use of artificial intelligence towards strengthening human rights protection, advancing ethical governance and supporting inclusive digital transformation.
Baku Ombudsmen Summit
The Summit brings together Ombudsman institutions, National Human Rights Institutions, international experts and other stakeholders to exchange views on artificial intelligence and human rights.
